He attended saints John Anglican school , Ebute igbooro and He started from humble beginnings and has expanded his business empire in various sectors such as clearing and forwarding, hospitality, quarry and mining, automobile sales, and real estate. His company, IBD-Impex, is one of the fastest-growing privately-owned companies in Nigeria, with IBD Hotels under its subsidiary becoming a leading brand in the hospitality industry in Ogun State. The Ibrahim Dende Foundation (IBD Foundation), a non-profit based in Ilaro, Yewa land, was founded in 2011 by Alhaji Ibrahim Egungbohun, also known as IBD Dende, a renowned philanthropist and businessman.
